BEST facilitates training and the achievement of National and Scottish Vocational Qualifications (NVQ/SVQs). BEST training advisers provide liaison between employers, colleges and public funding bodies, and monitor the progress of apprentices. BEST aims to optimise employers’ return on investment in new entrant training, offering recruitment, initial assessment, induction, course advice, progress reviews, mentoring and financial support.
